Twitter has finally released the new profile look, with larger profile image and customized cover image. Resembling other social media, Twitter now offers more space for graphics, brand and message… we like it!

On top of a new design, they’ve moved things around a bit. Business information is now under the profile image and the ‘Who To Follow’ suggestions switches from the left side, under the business information to the right side, under the cover image – depending upon the size of your screen.

It’s pretty easy to change your photo’s as we’ve described in the image:

It’s a much nicer page to land on when visiting a Twitter page and we think it’s more in-line with what social media users are used to seeing… the new look also allows for that all-important

brand consistency.

Here’s what Twitter has to say about the new web profile:

  • Best Tweets: Tweets that have received more engagement will appear slightly larger, so your best content is easy to find.
  • Pinned Tweet: Pin one of your Tweets to the top of your page, so it’s easy for your followers to see what you’re all about.
  • Filtered Tweets: Now you can choose which timeline to view when checking out other profiles. Select from these options: Tweets, Tweets with photos/videos, or Tweets and replies.

We love design so we think this change is awesome!
